Oceans' Bounty Seafood opened its' doors in October 2000, in St. James, NY. It began as strictly a wholesale entity, delivering fresh fish and seafood to many of the local restaurants in the area. As time passed, the residents of St. James discovered we were here and started knocking on the door looking to buy a pound of flounder or a couple of pounds of shrimp. Eventually we opened a few hours a week to the public. In September 2001, after the events of September 11th, we made a decision to open up as a full-scale retail market to serve the community that embraced us. We are now open all year round, seven days a week. Fresh fish and seafood arrive daily, and our selection is second to none.

We're a small neighborhood store, a little hard to find at first, but hopefully worth the effort. Much of our business is "word of mouth", and friends of yours become friends of ours. Over the years we've made many friends, and built many close relationships that we greatly appreciate and hold close to our hearts.

Whether it's cooking techniques, planning a party or sharing recipes, customer satisfaction is what we're all about. If you're looking for something special, ask us. We'll try and get it for you. If you're entertaining a small group or planning a party, we make a large selection of cold seafood platters, hot hors'douervres, and delicious entrees to pamper the most sophisticated palate. If you've had a hard day, stop by and pick up one of our "heat and eat" entrees, a hearty bowl of swordfish chili, or a delicious pint of piping hot soup. We promise to make you feel better.
